Cristina Rosales (she/they) is an editor who has worked on everything from personal statements to blog posts to novels. After working in the entertainment industry and the nonprofit sector, Cristina started Cristina Rosales Editorial Services LLC to focus on developmental editing and bringing out the best in people's stories.
Cristina credits her lifelong love of wordsmithing to growing up in the Pacific Northwest. Life in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon (average annual rainfall: 40 inches) meant a lot of time spent indoors.
Cristina is a graduate of the critical studies program at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. She recently completed the professional sequence in editing at UC Berkeley Extension and is eager to put her skills to use.
Cristina did a great job with a final proofread on my YA novel. She had particularly excellent suggestions in terms of deepening character development and establishing plot logic with some precise tweaks, as well as picking up typos.
